Do you guys get the "Rural Missouri" newspaper thing that the electric company sends out? If you didn't, this month featured a honest to goodness, live steel wielding, Viking Reenactors! They have a permanent, yes I said it - PERMANENT gathering place. Viking boat, big mead hall and a cook hall. The settlement is called "Ravensborg" and is located in Knox City. Here's the website: www.ravensborg.org. The settlement is on 160 acres, wouldn't it be awesome for an event? They only hold events twice a year.
